 3. Application Procedure

Apply for Chinese Government Scholarship from here: 

  •  Register and complete online application at www.campuschina.org , NWU agency code is 10697;
  • Print and sign the Application Form of Chinese Government Scholarship;
  • Contact a supervisor of NWU for acceptance letter(Students hold acceptance letter will be highly preferred).Send all paper application documents to NWU;
  • NWU will inform the short listed students and send out pre-admission letter after internal review and evaluation. Short-listed students should register at http://nwu.17gz.org

③ Once approved, please post all paper documents to NWU.

Non-degree Chinese Culture and Language Programs

I. Course Introduction:

1. Duration: One semester or more.

2. Curriculum:

v Compulsory courses---Comprehensive Reading, listening, speaking and writing.

v Electives courses--- Tai Chi (Tai-Ji), Calligraphy, Chinese painting, etc.

3. Class hours: 20 credit hours / week.

4. Classes: Elementary Chinese Language, Intermediate Chinese Language, and Advanced Chinese Language Classes.

5. Language and cultural practice:

Each semester, the School of International Cultural Exchange will arrange various cultural activities and sports events for international students. All students are welcome to participated in. 
 

II. Eligibility:

1. Above 18 years of age, and be in good health;

2. Valid passport;

3. High school / senior secondary or advanced diploma.

Admission Notification

After examining the application, the admission office will make a decision on admission notification. The successful candidates will be provided with an admission notice, a JW202 form (Visa application form), a health examination form. These documents will be posted to the permanent postal address of the applicants.

Usually the students are required to report at the admission office with their admission notice and other documents in September (the start of new session). Failure to do so within three weeks of the new term will be regarded as forfeiting the admission.
